MEET THE ARTIST

Lilly MacKenzie is the Artist behind Pózsó Fine Art, a name rooted in memory and meaning. "Pózsó" was a cherished childhood nickname, given to her by her sister, and speaks to the creative freedom of early years, creating and imagining without limits, a spirit that still shapes her work today.

Born in Hungary, later moving to the rolling hills of Wiltshire, England, Lilly grew up in a family of artists and makers, always surrounded my nature. Encouraged from a young age to paint, build, and create, she developed an expressive, experimental style nurtured by her creative upbringing and supportive teachers. Her childhood spent outdoors and her love of nature led her to gaining an MSci (Hons) in Marine and Freshwater Biology from the University of Glasgow. Her continuous observation of nature taught her to slow down, and value the small, often unnoticed moments, scenes, as well as interactions between people. This perspective runs through much of her work today.

Through Pózsó Fine Art, Lilly explores this perspective of life, focusing on everyday fleeting moments, small pleasures, human connection, emotion, and the unspoken stories that pass between people. Her loose, intuitive style reflects an evolving fascination with the subtleties of human experience.
